Taylors Lazy Sunday coffee beans are slowly roasted to give flavors of creamy milk chocolate and a delicate citrus for a gentle, easy-going personality. When you're trying to pause an intense weekday or winding down for the weekend, a bit of this mellow roast goes a long way to relaxing your mind and body.

2 bags of 1kg each of this delicious coffee. Suitable for espresso or filter. Taylors is a British company. Fairtrade certified. It is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Roasting

As a light roast, Lazy Sunday is soft on the palate and mellows into a warm hug for your senses. The cocoa bean from Latin America is used to smooth out the brew, while Africa provides citrus notes to balance. The result is a coffee which can be enjoyed on its own or paired with cake, milk chocolate and other sweets. It also goes well with lemon drizzle cakes or vanilla sponges extremely well.


When brewing this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel by adding some off the boil water to keep it warm and ready for brewing. After brewing, let  1kg roasted coffee beans  sit for 4 minutes, this ensures that the grounds are saturated and not over extracted. The water should be pushed through with the plunger. Do not stir or stir your coffee, as this could cause unpleasant ingredients to appear in your cup.

Lazy Sunday is a mellow light roast with citrus, sweet and cocoa aroma. It has a smooth and supple mouthfeel. The cocoa-like notes can be traced back to a winter's afternoon spent on the couch with an enjoyable book and a hug from the family. Pre-heat your French Press by using water that has not yet reached the boiling point. This will stop the coffee from being too extracted and creating undesirable elements in the drink. Then add your grounds and 250ml of off the boil water. Steep for 4 minutes, plunge and enjoy.
